Bentley Memorial Fund

Bentley's Story

Bentley was our baby. His favorite things were going for car rides, eating chewys, going to the dog park, and being the center of our world. As a family we had always wanted a Sharpei, and God answered our prayers with Bentley. We had nine wonderful years with him that seemed to have gone by in the blink of an eye. In December of 2016, around Christmas time, Bentley got really sick and we didn't know what was wrong with him. We took him to Dr. Powell at Powell Veterinary Service in Kersey, Co, and found out Bentley had diabetes. We were absolutely devastated. We had one week with him trying everything we possibly could to get him well. But in the end it was time for him to be in peace and in no more pain.
We had to put him down.
We were absolutely heartbroken that we had to give our beloved dog back to Jesus, but we were so thankful that we could afford to do whatever we could to help him. That is why we have teamed up with Dr. Powell to start a non-profit for people that have pets that are sick or injured, but simply cannot afford to get them the help they need.
