Working together for the care of pets
in our community
The Bentley Memorial Fund is a grass roots effort to raise funds to provide care for pets in the Kersey, CO area when funds are not available.
Many times, Dr. Powell will discount or provide his services for free, but that is not always feasible.
The hope is that we can secure donations from concerned individuals that want to help with the care of pets in these situations. With ongoing donations, we can provide the necessary veterinary care needed for these pets.
The effort is being spearheaded by Powell Veterinary Service. There are many times injured or sick pets are brought to the clinic by an owner who does not have the funds to provide the care needed. In addition, lost or abandoned pets are routinely brought to the clinic out of the kindness of a stranger's heart.
The Bentley Memorial Fund is maintained by 1st National Bank of Kersey. Because the fund is a 501(c)(3) organization, all donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
